Parnells received a walkover from Tara in the Reserve Championship last Saturday.  No competitive game played yet in this competition which is disappointing.  Our next game is against Round Towers on the 10/9 (Greenford 5pm) and the club is looking forward to this challenge.  Also taking place in Greenford this weekend is the Senior Championship game against KKG on the 9/9 at 5pm. The youth section has plenty to keep them busy as training resumes for all age groups.  The club is buzzing with anticipation of seeing a mouth-watering League Final taking place also at the weekend, the U18’s on the 10/9 against TCG/Tara in Greenford at 3.30pm.  We wish all the management teams and all the player’s success in all these fixtures.  Let’s put on our club colours and support all the teams.

Parnells received a walkover from Eire Og in the Reserve Championship last Saturday.  Their next game is against Tara on the 2nd of September and the club is looking forward to this challenge.  Training is ongoing as the ‘Championship’ fixtures roll out and the Senior Championship fixture against KKG is on the horizon.

The club would like to express their sincere condolences and sympathies to the Deacy family on the tragic and untimely passing of Joe Deacy whilst on holiday in Mayo.  A fellow GAA player with St Colmcilles in St Albans, a friendly and popular young man.  Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends and St Colmcilles at this time, he will be missed by all.  Rest in Peace.
