U8’s with their medals
The U8’s attended this year’s ABC in great numbers with two teams playing. (Colin McGuinness)
Parnells 1 were up against their closest rivals Taras first, which saw a great battle between both teams and the game ending in a draw. They continued on with another 4 games, seeing them win them all. The last game against TCG saw them all really shine, with some brilliant moments of play and great scores.
Parnells 2 started off with all guns blazing up against TCG, and saw them kick some great points, and win the game. The next 3 games saw a draw, win and a loss, with Sean McDermotts being very strong.
Well done to all the children, the kids were a credit to the club and their parents, with them giving their all in every game considering the hot weather and long day.
