It was our second outing of the year with Parnells “Blue” team comprising Ronan Keran, Ethan Shaughnessy, Paddy Rattigan, Joe Loughrey, Aidan Gallagher, Oliver Coupland and Ronan Carolan.
The team played three matches against St Colmcilles, Tir Chonaill Gaels and St Kiernans. It is worth noting only one member of the team played at Under 10 level last year with the other six recently stepping up to this age group.
The first game against St Colmcilles was very close and very even with both teams scoring some good scores.
Of the three games we played our best football was against our second opponents TCG. There was some great movement with the lads in the middle zone excelling at passing in to the attacking third and following in to the attacking zone rounded off with some good scores.
Our third game against St Kiernans was probably our most difficult encounter. They were a very strong team however credit to our lads as the battled well throughout this game and kept going until the end.
In summary the whole team did very well and were a credit to themselves.
