June 25th, 2016 | News, Youth Zone

Best of luck to all the under 14 players that are representing Parnells as part of the North London teams which are participating in the prestigious Féile Peil na Óg competition being held in Kerry, Cork and West Limerick this weekend.

The boys North London team has progressed to the final stages of the Division 4 cup, no mean achievement considering there are 10 divisions of teams from all over Ireland competing! The lads are playing in the semi-final on Sunday 26th against St Molaise Gaels of Sligo at the Gneeveguilla GAA pitch, home of the Kerry All Ireland winning captain Ambrose O’Donovan.

Meanwhile the girls North London team also comprising of members from Parnells have reached the Division 6 Shield semi-final to be played on the same day.  They will be playing Kingscourt of Cavan at Kilcummin GAA grounds in Killarney, home of the former ground-breaking President of the GAA Sean Kelly.

Best of luck to both North London teams and especially our own players.
