- At the end of September our U15s travelled to Co Down to be hosted by Kilkeel team An Ríocht and take part in the Paul Farrell Memorial 7s Tournament competing against 14 other teams.
We had two teams entered. The boys played very well and showed the Co Down teams what they were made of.
Parnells Yellow went into play for the Plate reaching the final. An exciting end to end game finished with us losing by 2 points.
Parnells Blue made it through to the semi final of the Cup and were really unlucky not to win it, losing by a point to the eventual winners.
The boys played with their heart, displaying some great football and thoroughly deserved some silverware but it wasn’t to be.
A very warm welcome from An Ríocht ensured a brilliant weekend was enjoyed by everyone and lasting memories made.
