Our U9’s had a great opportunity to take part in a half-time exhibition game during the London vs. Galway match on Saturday 6th April at Mcgovern Park GAA Ground in Ruislip.
Thank you to Galway Football Chairman Michael Geraghty and the Galway players who took time to talk and take pictures with our young players after the match.
Orla O’Meara, our Youth Secretary and U7 Coach, who is a native of Corofin in Co. Galway, said it was marvellous for the under-age kids to get the experience to play at half- time in McGovern Park. For me, it’s a day I won’t forget ,as it was great to see my County playing and then my daughter playing as part of the Parnells Youth at half time. As a club, we look forward to many more opportunities like this for our young kids.
