Conrad Ryan Tournament
On Saturday 5th October we hosted a tournament in honour of some special club members who are no longer with us.
In the morning our two Parnells teams were joined by Tara, Tir Chonaill Gaels, St Clarets and Glen Rovers for the U13 Boys tournament, where we played for the Conrad Ryan Cup, the Gerry Somers Shield and the Parnells Plate.
In the U12 Girls tournament that afternoon, as well as our own two teams, we hosted St Kiernans, Tir Chonaill Gaels, Glen Rovers, Tara and St Josephs (Waltham Cross). Teams were competing for the Brendan Lynch Cup and the Norah Togher Plate.
We would like to thank all the visiting clubs for their efforts in attending and playing the games in the right spirit. Also, we were delighted to be joined by Tom Togher and Bernie Ryan, along with her family, who presented the Norah Togher Plate and Conrad Ryan Cup respectively.
