2025 Season – Mens teams update

The 2025 season preparation started back in March; training and understanding the new rules.  The club is fielding 2 adult teams this year at Senior and Junior level.  Management of the teams continues with Tony Griffin at the helm but with Jim Rice stepping away due to work and personal circumstances.  Jim was a great addition and will be missed, contributing to our many successes in the last few years and the club were extremely thankful for his commitment, diligence and tactic board!  The Junior team is being led by Jamie Murphy and Luke Horgan (Senior players) and we wish them well as they take their first steps in to the area of management.

The Cup competitions began with good performances in their groups, playing well given that two of our Senior players were unavailable , Tighe Barry and Josh Obahor who are playing with the county and a number of players unavailable through injury.  A number of our u17’s have stepped up to adult level and are showing great promise.   We have progressed at this stage to the Tipperary Cup semi-final and both competitions have seen a learning curve adapting to the new rules with very exciting play at times.

On completion of the Cup competitions, the Leagues will begin.  Many of our players will be involved at county level, a significant number with the London Juniors.  The club wishes all the players and management the best of luck and we look forward to the games ahead.
