29.4.17 – 1.5.2017 Parnells Youth Club Trip to Oughterard, Galway
As the weekend draws near, the finishing touches are being finalised for the trip this weekend. Robbie Welby has been working hard behind the scenes along with other club committee members to ensure that everything goes according to plan as the club visits Robbie’s home club, Oughterard GAA.
Below is an itinerary to illustrate the events for the weekend with a time schedule. It’s packed with a variety of activities.
Saturday 29th April
– Leave London on flight to Knock Airport at 9.25am.
– 12pm approx. arrive in Oughterard from Knock Airport.
– 1:30-3:30pm Blitz in Corribdale (Parnells, Killanin & Oughterard)
– 4pm food in the Boat Inn Function room for young players.
– 5pm U21 Final televised in Function Room Boat Inn. (Galway v Dublin)
– 7pm approx. Kids picked up by their host families.
Sunday 30th April
– 9am Meet in Corribdale for Trip to Killarey Adventure Centre (Parnells & Oughterard Host Kids maybe)
– Arrive back to Oughterard approx. 6pm.
– 7pm approx. Kids picked up by their host families.
Monday 1st May
– Approx 10am. Kids dropped to Corribdale.
– 11am – 12:30pm Training Session and photos (some members of Galway Senior squad in attendance hopefully)
– 1pm – Parnells leave Corribdale, Oughterard for Knock Airport.
– 5.10pm depart from Knock Airport for London.
