On July 1st Mark White (Parnells U16 Manager), Tim Cooney and a few lads in Kerry take on the challenge of making it round the Ring of Kerry Charity Charity Cycle. Below Mark summarises in his own words his reflections on his journey to this stage. Please support him if you can (see details below). We wish him well and hope he makes it round injury free and in one piece!
July 1st is just around the corner and after a few earlier injury scares, it’s looking like Tim and I are going to make it to the starting line and with Gods help, the finishing line also, of this year’s Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle.
The main point of our journey, which started some 12 weeks ago when purchasing a bike, is to raise money for my chosen charity, The Derrynane Inshore Service, which is 1 of 10 locally registered charities selected for this year’s Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle.
So, it would be great and very much appreciated if you could support our charity and indeed our journey, by donating whatever you can, by simply going to the link below and take it from there.

Alternatively and If you prefer, you can transfer the funds directly to The Derrynane Inshore Rescue (ROK) bank account with the Bank of Ireland, Caherciveen, Co. Kerry IBAN: IE40 BOFI 9056 5162 8300 93 (BIC: BOFIIE2D) please ensure you include the last 7 digits of your booking reference or your name on any bank lodgement.
Finally, thanks a million in advance for your generosity and after cycling 180km on July 1st to get over the line, we will most certainly come back to you again, assuming we can!!
